Simon Di Rosso
Principal

Di Rosso Law is founded by Simon Di Rosso, who brings a wealth of experience to the firm having practiced for over 15 years as a commercial lawyer in construction and building matters, local government, wills and estates, dispute resolution and general legal advice and now family law, in which Simon is also undertaking a double Masters. Simon has worked both as General Counsel in local government and in top tier international firms and brings a vast range of expertise to our team.

Marnie Parkinson
Senior Lawyer
Marnie Parkinson is a senior lawyer with more than two decades of experience in family law and native title law. Admitted to practice in 2000, she has appeared regularly in the Family Court of Western Australia, the Federal Court of Australia and the National Native Title Tribunal in both trial and interlocutory matters.
Marnie has extensive experience acting in parenting and financial proceedings, including child relocation disputes, division of property, family trusts, farming disputes, divorce, child support and financial agreements. She is also experienced in care and protection matters in the Children’s Court and has represented clients in the Magistrates Court in relation to family violence restraining orders.
In the native title jurisdiction, Marnie has worked closely with native title claim groups, prescribed bodies corporate and native title representative bodies, particularly in matters before the National Native Title Tribunal. Her broad litigation background is complemented by her reputation as a skilled negotiator, with a strong talent for resolving family law disputes, especially those involving complex children’s and property issues.
Marnie is committed to providing clear, practical advice and to achieving durable, cost‑effective outcomes for her clients during what is often a highly stressful and emotional time.
Helen Barratt
Associate
Helen completed her Juris Doctor at Murdoch University, and her practical legal training with in-house counsel for an oil and gas company, working on construction projects and litigation, before being admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2017.
For the next two years Helen worked at the District Court of Western Australia as a Judge’s Associate. Since commencing legal practice, Helen has worked as a generalist practitioner and has experience of commercial litigation, family law, both in property settlements and parenting orders, and wills and estates. Helen has worked on criminal matters, from traffic offences to District Court trials, and she has experience of violence restraining orders, assisting both applicants and respondents.
While Helen thoroughly enjoys advocacy and has experience appearing in Magistrates Court, District Court, Family Court, and the State Administrative tribunal, she prefers to find less adversarial solutions whenever possible and practicable, and her focus is on delivering the best possible results for her clients.
Lenore Evans
Practice Manager
Lenore brings exceptional professionalism, leadership, and a genuine commitment to supporting both our team and our clients.
Since joining DRL, Lenore has become an invaluable part of the firm, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our practice while fostering a positive and collaborative workplace. Her dedication, attention to detail, and client-focused approach make her a trusted point of contact for both staff and clients alike.
Lenore commenced her legal career in 2007 and has focused exclusively on Family Law since 2010. She has extensive experience in complex property and parenting matters and has assisted in numerous trials over the years. She holds a Diploma in Legal Studies from Victoria University, completed in 2014.
Savannah Friday
Legal Assistant
Savannah is a current law student and our Legal Assistant at Di Rosso Law, where she provides valuable support to our legal team while helping to ensure our clients receive a welcoming and professional experience.
With a genuine passion for connecting with people, Savannah assists with client communications, legal administration and the day-to-day coordination of matters. Her attention to detail, professionalism and approachable nature make her a valued member of the Di Rosso Law team.
As she continues her legal studies, Savannah is gaining valuable practical experience across the firm and developing her skills within the legal profession.
Amy Cooke
Administration Assistant
With more than three decades of experience in the legal profession, Amy brings a wealth of knowledge, professionalism and practical experience to Di Rosso Law. Beginning her legal career in South Africa in 1990, Amy gained extensive experience across a broad range of legal areas before relocating to Perth in 2007. Since then, she has worked with several leading law firms, developing a strong understanding of the legal industry and the importance of providing exceptional service to both clients and colleagues.
In her role as Administration Assistant at Di Rosso Law, Amy provides valuable administrative and client support, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the firm. Her extensive legal background, attention to detail and organisational skills make her an invaluable member of the DRL team.
Amy is also known for her warm, compassionate and approachable nature. She understands that engaging with a law firm can often occur during significant or challenging periods in a person’s life, and takes pride in making every client feel welcomed, supported and cared for from their very first interaction with the firm.
Kristy Di Rosso
Administration Manager
Meet Kristy– a powerhouse of dedication and versatility!
With extensive experience in customer service and executive administration, Kristy brings unparalleled expertise and professionalism to her role as the Administration Manager at Di Rosso Law.
Recently obtaining her Bachelor of Education through ECU, Kristy is now stepping down from a full-time role at DRL to pursue her passion for early childhood education as a graduate teacher. While beginning her teaching career with enthusiasm and purpose, Kristy will continue contributing to DRL part-time, ensuring her commitment to excellence remains a part of the firm.
Outside of work, Kristy is the heart of her family, balancing the demands of owning a business, shaping young minds in the classroom, raising children, spoiling Bindi, and managing life’s daily chaos—all with grace and determination – and then trying to find herself some down-time!
Kristy’s wealth of experience, strong organisational skills, and commitment to excellence make her an invaluable asset to both her professional and personal communities.
